Welcome to Mary, Mother of the Church, a Mid-Mon Valley Parish
“ Mary, Mother of the Church is located in the heart of historic Downtown Charleroi. It was established on Nov. 1, 1992 following the merger of three parishes: Sts. Cyril & Methodius, St. Jerome and Mother of Sorrows. The parish thrived under the name and mantle of Mary, Mother of the Church. In October, 2018 Mary, Mother became part of the grouping of Mid Mon Valley parishes including Our Lady of the Valley in Donora and St. Damien of Molokai in Monongahela. Father Kevin Dominik is the administrator; Father Patrick Barkey is the Parochial Vicar; and the Deacon is Al Poroda. Father Jerry Mikonis remains in residence. Come and join us as we pray, petition, sing and dedicate ourselves to the mission of Jesus and gather around the Eucharistic Table of our Beloved Savior!
